Lodge To Lodge Trip:

Join the River of No Return Wilderness Outfitters on a luxury rafting adventure. We will spend our days rafting, hiking and swimming along the whitewater’s of the Main Salmon River. A picnic lunch is included each day. Each night, we will visit a different lodge and enjoy a gourmet dinner. You will spend your night tucked away in a soft, comfy bed. As the sun rises, a hearty and delicious breakfast will be served before starting the day’s next adventure. As the rafting trip comes to an end, you will board a small plane, where sightseeing is a must, to return to Salmon, Idaho.

The Schedule:

NIGHT 1: ARCTIC CREEK LODGE
Arctic Creek Lodge lies in the middle of the steep Salmon River Canyon only a few steps away from the river. You will enjoy seclusion in a wilderness environment while affording some of the conveniences of home. One of Idaho’s most beautiful hot springs is within one mile of the lodge.

NIGHT 2: WHITEWATER RANCH
Whitewater Ranch covers one-hundred nineteen acres and includes many historic buildings, springs, and an intricate hydro-power system. The ranch was originally homesteaded by Eugene Churchill who prospected and supplied vegetables and meat to miners and local communities.

NIGHT 3: CHINA BAR LODGE
China Bar Lodge is located at the mouth of beautiful Lemhi Creek, near the center of the 2.3 million acre Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. The lodge offers clean, rustic accommodations with delicious family style meals served in the main lodge or on the deck overlooking the Salmon River. After a day in the outdoors you’ll enjoy a hot shower and a warm dry bunk in one of the cabins, or you may want to sleep out under the stars.

NIGHT 4: MACKAY BAR
Mackay Bar Lodge sits above the beach on the Salmon River nestled in the Frank Church Wilderness. The main lodge hosts the kitchen, large dining area, a relaxing and inviting social center, a quiet library, and a gift shop. With it’s rustic and welcoming decor, the lodge is inviting and ready to accommodate all of Mackay Bar’s guests with the delight of a backcountry setting.

My kids and I went a week of wild rides, great food, and solid fun with RONR.   It was amazing.  Truly amazing.   Words simply cannot describe the many ways in which our eyes were opened to the brave new world of white water rafting.  Exhiliarating!
